Girls’ Booster Basketball 3rd – 4th Grades

Our Booster Basketball program is intended to be a developmental opportunity for beginning basketball players to teach them the basic skills and understanding of the game.  Booster Basketball includes some travel to compete in games against other towns.  The seasons generally run late September through mid-December. Registration fee is $35 and includes a team shirt. Once registered, each girl will be contacted by her coach.  Practices are often 1-2 evenings a week, dates and times being determined by the availability of gym time and the coach’s personal schedule. Both the 3rd & 4th grade teams will play in 3-4 non-competitive meets during the season, including a home meet on Saturday December 7th in SCF.  The 4th grade team might also participate in a few competitive meets (in January or February) with full game rules, officiating and score keeping.
